This New York City skyline engagement session was very special to me. Reagan is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We met in the fourth grade and have been pals ever since. Reagan has always been the kind of person who sets her mind to something and achieves it. She got into an amazing college, worked hard to get into the journalism school, attended a secondary school after graduating with her bachelors and when she decided she was going to get a job at an advertising agency in NYC, there was no doubt that she’d do it. I met Brad when we all went to a Guster concert in Atlanta. I remember thinking that he was the perfect kind of quiet funny. He didn’t say a lot that night, but when he did it was hysterical.
Reagan and Brad moved to NYC together a few years ago and when I found out I’d be doing Laura & Tony’s engagement session there in April of 2022, I knew it would be the prime opportunity to photograph two wonderful couples. Reagan and Brad live right on the water in Brooklyn. They adore their quiet little neighborhood with all its shops, restaurants and bars. When we talked about where to take the photos, it made sense that we would photograph them ‘in their natural habitat’. I wanted this New York City engagement session to reflect them as a couple. Enjoying the things they love, each other’s company and the life they’ve built together. Cheers to you, Reagan & Brad! I can’t wait to celebrate your wedding with you in 2023! Love you both!
