The photos from Annie & Zach’s Serenbe Engagement Session are a photographer’s dream. I met this sweet couple through one of my favorite wedding planners – Linda Kelly of Sweet Magnolia Wedding & Events Management. I’m so excited to be working with her again! These two met me at The Inn at Serenbe just outside of Atlanta to capture these incredible shots. The combination of stunning morning light, clean architectural lines and a good looking couple make it impossible to take a bad photo. Annie told me right away that she wanted a Serenbe engagement session and it’s not hard to see why. I am absolutely obsessed with the way these photos turned out. Nerd time. I shot almost this entire session on film. I really wanted to challenge myself to see if I was getting any better. Sometimes it can be really hard incorporating film into sessions. You have to slow yourself down when you’re used to the speed of digital. On the flip side, it made editing a breeze! There were only a few adjustments I needed to make. I really feel like I’m falling in love with my work all over again. I’m really looking forward to watching how my work progresses. I photographed this session with a Mamiya 645 1000s (medium format) and a Canon EOS 1V (35mm). I chose Kodak Portra 400 film for the entire session. The scans were done by Photovision Prints.

Annie & Zach’s wedding day is going to be perfect! They are so sweet with each other that it will make my job so easy. Annie is planning to have her bridesmaids also dress in white! My aesthetic heart is screaming with excitement! It’s going to be one for the books! Congratulations to Annie and Zach!
