Sunny Georgian Terrace Engagement Session
Pawan & her fiance, Ravi, reached out to me for engagement sessions earlier this year. They were looking for natural looking photos that were modest and beautiful. We decided that the historic Georgian Terrace Hotel was the perfect location for their photos.
Nestled in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, The Georgian Terrace Hotel stands as a testament to Southern elegance and historic charm. With its timeless architecture, and rich heritage, this iconic hotel offers a captivating blend of past and present. The hotel’s historical significance extends beyond its impressive architecture. The Georgian Terrace played host to the premiere gala of “Gone with the Wind” in 1939, an event that drew Hollywood royalty and cemented the hotel’s place in cinematic history.
The light for this session couldn’t have been any dreamier if it tried. The sun gave us the most etherial glow play with. I think the photos feel so warm and inviting!
Before their session, Pawan expressed concerns about being able to pose naturally for the camera. Understanding your photographer’s photographing style is so important! If you know that you and your partner are going to need a little bit of help with posing, then a documentary style photographer isn’t necessarily the right fit for you. Be sure to communicate your desires to them so that they can appropriately advise you!
This beautiful, sunny Georgian Terrace engagement session will live rent free in my mind (and my portfolio) for many years to come!
