Some weddings are built around a venue. This one was built around something older and steadier: faith, family, and a love that needed no announcing. Ariel and Jared gathered their community at the Atlanta History Center and let their Jewish traditions carry the day.

When the hora lifted them into the air, the whole room moved as one — that kind of joy you can't stage, only catch. And in a moment I won't forget, they each broke their own glass. Not one for the couple, but one for each of them, side by side: a quiet declaration that this marriage would be built equally, two people committing with their own hands.
What I remember most is how present everyone was. My job was to stay close, stay quiet, and let it unfold.
