Married

Taylor is a dear friend of mine from college!

I was over the moon when she contacted me and asked me to document her special day!

Taylor married a wonderful man named Garrett and I cannot think of two people who are better suited to begin their lives together!

They are both so incredibly giving (not only to each other but to everyone they know)!

I knew that this day would be an absolute blast! Taylor is one of the funniest people I know, so I was bound to be surrounded by people who could appreciate good humor!

I love you both so much and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love!

Biltmore Estate Engagement Session

 

I can’t tell you how perfect it was that my very first engagement photo shoot was with my best friend, Marilla, and her wonderful fiancé, Josh! We traveled to the stunning  Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina to document and celebrate their engagement!

These two have an incredible story. They began dating in high school about six months before Marilla was going to graduate and move to Virginia to pursue a BFA in Dance at Shenandoah Conservatory. The fate of their relationship was one that was unsure as they decided to begin a long-distance relationship that would span across two states, eight hours and 460 miles! Almost 5 years later, they are now engaged and about to embark on what I KNOW will be a life of love and happiness!

I met Marilla in college and we instantly connected over our love of witty banter, Disney movies and gossip. Soon, we would become inseparable and I would find myself with one of those “life-long friends” that everyone says will develop during your time at school.

I met Josh (who by the way is studying to be a mechanical engineer…smarty pants) one weekend when he came to visit Marilla at school. All I can say is that I have never met a man as devoted to a girl as Josh is to my best friend. He is kind and VERY good to her and it makes me happy to know that she will always be taken care of.

I love you both more than I can say! I am honored that I got to take your engagement pictures and that you’re allowing me to be apart of the journey you’re starting!
